Lycia Scott
Lycia was born and raised in Colorado, and grew up in a family of construction workers. Being a daughter of a pipe fitter and welder, Lycia learned how to weld by middle school, and furthered her knowledge of construction and HVAC since. Although she is most noted by her pink hard hat, and girlie style she is not afraid to get dirty, throw on jeans, and hit a job site.
Lycia has managed and, owns several small businesses in Denver, along side her husband who has also worked in the construction field. She has a background in business management, and marketing which has made her very successful over the years. Her goal with CSS is to provide superior service, and supplies at an exceptional rate. Most importantly to her is giving back to the community. Lycia has noted "with the booming construction industry in Colorado the trades are not seeing the growth with knowledgeable employees." She would like to educate, and share with high school graduates that trades, and trade school is just as important as main stream college. Her goal is to give scholarships to students who decide to go into pipefitting, plumbing, welding etc. and, be their support through their education.
Behind the hard hat she is a mother of two, and involved in the school community. When not working, Lycia enjoys spending time with her family, skiing and camping. Many days if you stop by Construction Supply Services she will have her assistant, Bode with her...the family pup.
Justin Scott
Justin has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years, as a mechanic, in the purchasing of materials, and project management. Justin has a wealth of knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and welding.
Having worked in and around construction, Justin is familiar with most materials and has a plethora of long time vendors to help with sourcing. Justin works along side Lycia, and brings some calm to the table. Justin takes on essential roles with Construction Supply Services, ensuring accurate materials are procured for each individual job, in addition to managing the warehouse and personnel.
Outside of work Justin finds himself spending time with Lycia and their two kids. He enjoys skiing, hiking, fishing and traveling.
Shelley Maher
Shelley grew up in Colorado, living throughout the state, but has always considered Fort Collins her hometown. Shelley grew up around construction with her stepdad as a Custom Homebuilder. Her career path took her to Verizon for 25+ years successfully managing multi-million dollar IT development projects impacting over 125,000 employees. The past 25 years helped Shelley hone her project management, IT, budgeting and organization skills. After so many years working for a large corporation, Shelley took a voluntary severance package early 2019 as an effort to find something new. After taking the summer off and spending time with family, along came the opportunity at Construction Supply Services. Lycia's company seemed to be the perfect match of a small business, female owned and in construction, which has always been a side passion for Shelley. Shelley has been able to hit the ground running at CSS and hopes to continue to provide the excellent customer service that CSS is known for.
Shelley currently lives in Westminster with her husband of 17 years, Mike, their 14 year old daughter, Sophie, and 2 (very spoiled) Bernese Mountain Dogs, Frank and Motley. Shelley and her family love to enjoy all that Colorado has to offer with lots of time spent skiing in the winter to paddle boarding and hiking in the summer.
